Contents:  Cristina and I lay down the foundation to get you up and dancing at your first milonga (social dance event), even if this is your first lesson.  The basics of embrace, weight change, walking to the strong beat, and other social/navigation elements are introduced (including the Junior High sweet-heart dance).  Our goal is to give you a quick start to this other wise lengthy process of learning this beautiful social dance.  Other videos in this foundation series will cover more ideas on connection, musicality, and vocabulary.

Contents:  This FREE video covers the basics of floor craft and social etiquette.  Cristina and I cover details from "Thank You" to the 3 "Rogue Molecules" on the social dance floor as well as the 3 forms of "Cabaceo" that are often used and encountered.  It's good for both new dancers and more experienced dancers alike...  Please feel free to share this with as many folks (tango social dance friends) as you wish!

 7.  OTS Foundation Series -  The Walking Game - $7.50

Contents:  With this video we introduce the fundamentals of communication while walking in tango.  Specifically we build the relationship between the leader's forward walk and the follower's backward walk.  We explore both open and close embrace applications and focus on dancing to the strong walking beat with our partner.  This is one of the most important building blocks in tango that is often over-looked and definitely hard to master.  The time and effort you put in to achieve a good 'walking game' will benefit you greatly in the long run.  Enjoy!
 8.  OTS Foundation Series - Basic Walking Movements - $8.00

Contents:  Basic Walking Movements starts with a refinement of the weight change (or zero pattern of tango), continues with creating a clear lead follow for the side-step (vs. wt. change), and branches into rock-step concepts.  Cristina and I also include a few combinations of the aforementioned movements and perform a very long didactic demo that incorporates all of these elements musically (rhythmically) and in the line of dance.

Contents:  This video kicks off our second didactic video series with Pacific Coast Professional Media.  It is a foundation level video that covers the basics of the close embrace turn (aka Chapter 1 - Very 'Apilado' Technique).  If you're interested in learning the extremes of turn technique (between Open and Close embrace) start with this video and then watch the next one (Open Turns) to really appreciate the full range of what tango has to offer.  Both follower & leader technique will be addressed.

Contents:  This second video of our OTS Series 2 production covers the fundamentals of the open embrace turn (aka Chapter 7 - Very Open).  In truth there are many forms of the tango turn but by studying the very close (previous video) and the very open (this video) you begin to understand the boundaries and can better adapt to most situations (shades of grey in-between very open and very close embrace turns).  Not to be missed for leaders and for followers alike!

Contents:  This didactic video concludes the foundation lessons developed in our OTS Series 2 production.  The 'no-pivot' ocho is a common element in close embrace dancing but also has many applications in a more open embrace.  Unfortunately, this type of ocho is most often over looked by beginners leading to a limited understanding of communication and expression between leaders and followers.  An early understanding of this foundation concept will greatly improve your future flexibility and development as a social tango dancer.

Content: This is Homer & Cristina's first attempt to bring an entirely 'music focused' didactic video to the student. With Homer's growing bandoneon talents and Cristina's assistance we cover the very fundamental musical elements of traditional tango orchestras that no tango dancer (leader or follower) should be without.
