Introduction: Our goal is to provide a forum for singers & musicians of all skill levels to be introduced to the music of Argentine Tango. Specifically, we focus on working through and playing arrangements transcribed mostly from the most popular tango music played at the dance halls of Argentina and around the world (during the Golden Age of the 1930s and 1940s). To accomplish this, we provide specific parts for each musician to play based on skill level and interest. Our main focus is to have a fun and educational experience, while we explore what it takes to create a highly danceable sound, as sought after by the best social dancers of our community.
